During our travels thus far we have encountered the same questions which arose first from curious friends and family back in the States:
What made you decide to do a bike tour?
Why South America?
– and –
Why did you decide to stay?
It seems each time we ponder a response a new thread of inspiration enriches our spectrum of reasons.
- To experience different cultures
- To expand our perspective
- To learn another language
- To challenge ourselves
- To live more simply
- To gain appreciation
And the list goes on.
Still, there is a singular purpose woven through which unites the assorted strands revealing that our ultimate intention is to grow both personally and spiritually.

That is so sweet! The funny thing is that I was thinking about EJ and the Jamail crew a lot lately and wondering how everyone was doing. I’m in the US at the moment, and dreaming of the next adventure. : ) I hope you’re all better than ever!!! Love to you all!!!
