1 I awoke in a column, cinereal gray; a spiraling tide issuing upward toward heaven.
4 A mythical rite at its height reified; there set weightless on air four wise sages.
9 Surreal was their sight, beheld as with eyes, yet far from the bounds of occipital.
5 Diadems round their heads phased radiant splendor; as beacons they shone superluminal.
9 Their vestments arrayed with adornment ablaze dripped gold and ambrosia like honey.
7 Their countenance veiled in the depths of transcendence left faces like crystal diffusing God’s glory.
8 Their presence, pristine, unendingly still, drew me near like a mother’s embraces,
7 As each in-turn rose on a pillar of aether to speak truth not with words, but in colors suffused.
0 Through the distance they blazed, these supernal flames, subliming my soma to Nous.
– Ruby rays from the west reached darkness aphotic; burning hot through the night, they illumined my soul.
– Emerald swathes from the north, sought a heart once necrotic; reviving my life, they enlivened its toll.
– Southern sapphire swells salved an eye amaurotic; restoring its sight, they made my mind whole.
2 Well replete, I gave thanks to these masters of light. At their feet did I fall; no more could I take.
9 But unfazed by my plight stood the mage of the east. With her nod I was lifted, as it started to rain.
9 Flawless diamond in streams breathing deeply the sun, like prisms let loose all its hues to be seen,
7 And a sound like a trumpet shook open the skies; it wrapped me in linen, and called out my name.
9 Astounded I stumbled; to my knees I withdrew. In their sight I was humbled to know myself clean.
2 Then the tone within grew to a visceral rumble, surging underneath skin, asunder to break,
4 And emerged amber flame amidst crumbling pyre; ethereal beams through silken seams did effuse.
5 As my flesh evanesced in an instant of fire, her voice rolled like thunder…
8 “RISE! Oh my child, as the day comes anew!”
